Every night Alicia loves to hear the coquís who live all over Puerto Rico sing her to sleep. The little tree frogs have very big voices. Ko-kee! Ko-kee! On day a terrible hurricane arrives and Alicia and her family are forced to take shelter. When they emerge, the island is silent. Will Alicia ever hear her beloved coquís sing again?
